GREENHOUSES

Just think what it would be like to harvest your own fresh fruit and vegetables all winter long. What
prevents YOU from doing this?

Outside of one of our greenhouses in early spring. This modest greenhouse (17’ X 28’) will be home to our family-sized aquaponics project which will supply fruit, vegetables and fish for a family of 6

Inside our 28’X 28’ home-made greenhouse. Note the many different types of plants being grown as well as hanging baskets and seedling trays.

A close-up of New Guinea Impatiens. Not only food can be grown in a greenhouse, but also income producing plants such as hanging baskets which utilize overhead space.

Tip: If you have an aquarium and houseplants, keep a container of tap water sitting nearby. Use tank water for your plants and top off your fish tank with dechlorinated tap water.
