HOW YOU CAN HELP

There are a number of ways you can help:

1.Make a tax deductible contribution to help keep our
Educational programs operating. You can donate online by
using the "Donate Now" link below.

2. Or if you prefer, you can donate by check.
Our mailing address is: One Accord FoodPantry, Inc., 296 Town Office Road,
Troy, NY 12180. Phone: (518) 279-9721

3. Volunteer your time. Call our main number and ask for the volunteer coordinator.

4. How to be a Philanthropic Shopper

Everybody shops. Books, CDs, clothes, food, sports gear, jewelry, toiletries, flowers, computers, pet food, children's toys, gifts… In fact, people shop a lot. Try and count how many trips you've made to the pharmacy in the past month. Or how often you've needed to buy birthday, wedding or anniversary gifts for family and friends. Think of how much money could go to One Accord Food Pantry if supporters did some or all of their shopping online at www.iGive.com where up to 25% of every purchase is donated to One Accord Food Pantry! At iGive.com, membership is free and shopping is easy! In fact, it's so simple you won't even notice how much money you're raising for One Accord Food Pantry because there is no extra cost or obligation to you! So hurry up and visit the Mall at iGive.com, where you can shop at over 240 merchants, including Amazon.com, CDNow, Lands' End, Gap.com, PETsMART and more to help One Accord Food Pantry at the same time! iGive.com will give $1 to One Accord Food Pantry for every shopper you refer - out to six degrees of referral!

As you might well imagine it is expensive to run our educational projects. Since we are an all-volunteer
charity, all donations go to actual operations. You can help (even if you can’t drop by and weed the garden) by donating online help, financial donations or corporate contacts. We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charity. You can be especially helpful by putting to use any of the concepts we have posted here...or, start a local group to take some action of your own.
